This conversation reminds me... The words we use don't actually have a meaning. Not really. We say good when we want to keep it simple. We rarely open up to people. We just say fine, good and okay to every fucking person, even the closest friends.
But it makes me wonder if anything, any word has any meaning at all. When I try telling the word a few times, it sounds like gibberish. Meaningless jumble of letters that doesn't mean anything. But still, a language and millions of language exists and we communicate. It's in a way, amazing.
But sometimes communication is beyond words and the weight of the words lies in the emotional weight we put on it. So good is good. We don't mean anything we say. It's just a way to move through the world without having to explain people anything. We all avoid conversation and people. Because like Mr. Robot said, we are all living in each other's paranoia.
Maybe one day, we will evolve beyond the need for words to understand each other. But unfortunately we live in a world where ignorant people don't understand things, simple things like freedom even when they are conveyed in the simplest of words. That's what words are worth.
